NUSU Crew is your opportunity to get involved, give back, and make a difference on campus! As a NUSU Crew member, you can volunteer at a variety of NUSU events, initiatives, and projects throughout the year while gaining valuable experience and meeting new people. Volunteer opportunities can include helping with event setup and tear-down, supporting NUSU programming, promoting NUSU initiatives, assisting with tabling and student outreach, participating in marketing initiatives, fundraisers and community initiatives, supporting welcome and orientation events, and more. Whether you have an hour to spare or want to become a regular volunteer, there are opportunities to fit your schedule and interests. NUSU Crew is also an RSD (Record of Student Development) certified program, allowing your volunteer experience to contribute toward your RSD while helping you develop valuable skills in leadership, teamwork, communication, organization, and community engagement. As a NUSU Crew member, you can earn points through a variety of opportunities, including helping with large event set-up, (such as Sexy Bingo), assisting at the NUSU AGM and community actions, taking event photography / content, participating in social media content, and attending semesterly Crew meetings. Members can also support NUSU online by liking, commenting, and resharing content, as well as staying connected through the NUSU Crew Instagram group chat.
