Motionball
motionball™ is a national non-profit organization that empowers young Canadians to be leaders in their communities, raising funds and awareness of the Special Olympics movement through inclusive social and sporting events.
The motionball University program was established to give Canadian university students the opportunity to create meaningful, relevant ways to support Special Olympics through their own on-campus initiatives and events.
Here at Nipissing we intend to spread awareness to the special olympics cause by organizing fun and inclusive events for all people. The Marathon of Sport is motionball’s flagship event which takes place in 19 cities across Canada. Participants of all abilities join in teams of 10 for a full day of fun and inclusive sports all while raising funds and awareness in support of the Special Olympics Canada Foundation.
