BIO for VP External Candidate Cole Fournier
Jan 29, 2010
Hi, there!
For those of you that don't know me, my name is Cole Fournier, and I would love to have the honour of being your VP External for the 2010/2011 school year.
Firstly, I am born and raised in North Bay, with strong ties to our community, which is an integral part to being VP External. An important piece of this position is working together with our community to create events, and gather support while discussing and solving problems that may arise. I also worked at the Chamber of Commerce for almost three years, and my time there has allowed me to make connections to the business community that will allow me to garner more support in charitable events such as Shinerama and Movember.
Secondly, I have great leadership skills. I have been a Frosh leader for the past 3 years, which has allowed me to become a more personable (if not mildly crazier) human being. I'm a very approachable person, and even if I don't know you, I won't spit at you and curse you like a gypsy. As well, I was my school council president in grade 12 for a total of 4 glorious months, but had a rock and roll concert that was a little too rock and roll for my Christian school… long story, great story. Ask me about it.
Thirdondly, I know that I am the best person for this job hands down. The whole point of NUSU is to act as a voice for the students of Nipissing within our school and our community, and I know that I will be the strongest voice that you can choose. I will do everything and anything in my power (even black magic) to make next year one of the most memorable yet.
Cole “Power” Fournier.
