Nipissing University Student Union (NUSU) and Canadore Students Representative Council (CSRC) offer their student members a food bank for the purpose of fulfilling basic nutritional needs. The NUSU/CSRC Food Bank is located in Room A142. If you require any further assistance or are interested in this volunteering opportunity, please stop by the Central Office for more information.
We are constantly seeking donations of non-perishable goods for the Food Bank as well as grocery gift cards for purchasing fresh food. Please keep your peers in mind.
How to access the food bank:
1) Drop in during any of the standing food bank hours
2) See the NUSU/CSRC office to access the food bank at other times
How to donate to the food bank:
To donate, simply bring your non-perishable food items or grocery gift cards to the NUSU/CSRC office. Thank you very much for your generous donation.
The student foodbank can be accessed during the summer months (May to August) by coming to the NUSU/CSRC Central Office between the hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, except for statutory holidays.
Food bank hours will be limited during the week of March 3 - 7, 2008 due to the Canadore College study week.
Current Winter Semester Food Bank Hours:
Monday 9:00am - 2:30pm / 4:30pm - 7:00pm
Tuesday 12:30pm - 3:00pm / 3:30pm - 8:00pm
Wednesday 10:30am - 2:00pm / 5:00pm - 7:30pm
Thursday 9:00am - 2:00pm
Friday 11:30am - 2:30pm
Saturday Closed
Sunday Closed
