The Awareness Team (A-Team) is a group of Nipissing University Student Union students who are dedicated to dealing with pertinent student issues which require awareness. The A-Team puts on events designed to raise awareness about a number of issues including sexual health, AIDS, STD’s, violence, drinking and driving, responsible drinking, discrimination, drug use, and more. With the rising costs of tuition and importance of a quality education, students of the twenty-first century realize that their education is no laughing matter. Our goal is to ensure that we as students make informed decisions regarding ourselves, alcohol, drugs, sex, and other issues.
